Read This First

The Volunteer list is currently FULL.

It's even overfilled, and new sign-ups go onto a back up list. We have plenty of volunteers, and have more interested people than we can use right now. Any new MRC members will be added to a back up list in case something changes and we need new people to staff the clinic.
Having too many volunteers is a wonderful issue to have, and thanks again for everyone's interest in helping!

Dear Volunteers,
Thank you so much for your willingness to assist with our COVID Vaccination Clinic!  I've provided some information below so you know what to expect when you arrive.  Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or need additional information!

Sign-Up Rules for Volunteers

Remember that to sign up as a Vaccinator or Medical Observer you must be a licensed medical professional.

Northampton Senior Center
67 Conz Street
Northampton, MA

Adequate parking is available on site at no charge.
Please leave parking spaces in the front lot for our elderly guests

Hours

Volunteers should arrive 30 minutes before your shift for orientation

 

The Sign-Up Process

The sign-up sheets are emailed to the MRC members on the volunteer list.

COVID Vaccine for Volunteers

We are allowed to provide the COVID vaccine to our clinic volunteers.
If you choose an appointment on the same day as your volunteer shift, you will be vaccinated at the end of the clinic, regardless of the appointment time you choose. Select "non COVID facing healthcare worker" from the dropdown menu as your eligibility category. When you arrive at your appointment, you can let registration know that you are one of my volunteers.

Special Note: Many of the appointments are filling quickly. If the clinics are full when you try to sign up, you may be able to get vaccinated the day of your clinic if there are no-shows or if we turn away ineligible guests. Additionally, we are going to set a volunteer-only clinic each week to vaccinate any remaining volunteers and I'll be forwarding this date & time as soon as it's set up. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we iron out these new details.
